Independent journalist Mike Cernovich has updated the public on this story  March 3, 2018. Arvind Dilawar is charged with a felony.

Police Identified Arvind Dilawar, a contributer to Vice, Newsweek, and The Guardian, as a suspect arrested on charges of robbery at a Mike Cernovich speaking event at Columbia University in New York.

Dilawar physically assaulted a woman and took the phone after following her with a small mob Monday night.

The campus police department caught the suspect and turned him over to NYPD. 

In addition to his writing career with news outlets, Arvind Dilawar is an anarchist with the violent Antifa movement in New York City.
