NPR Activist's Trap Fails Against Mike Cernovich

NPR Activist's Trap Fails Against Mike Cernovich

This afternoon, journalist Mike Cernovich went live on Periscope to dispel a media deception in the making.

A NPR activist, masked as a interviewer, gained access to Cernovich, presumably, under the guise of wanting to question the firing of Sam Seder.

After a few back and forth statements, NPR pivoted, bringing up a past tweet Cernovich made regarding the legal response to date rape allegations.

NPR mischaracterized that tweet in hopes to trap Cernovich in a public relations blunder over the airwaves. It failed.

Sensing the fraud, Cernovich ended the phone call and hosted a live periscope to stream the interview that had just taken place.

His swift action is a lesson to the rest of us when being interviewed by activists at the fake news.

1. Record everything.

2. If you are being trapped, end the conversation.

3. Immediately post the recording to scoop the activist.
